Stretch marks are parallel streaks that appear on the skin. They can be 0.5 to 1.5 wide with different length and distinctive color from the skin. Stretch marks usually appear in the abdominal area, on the hips, chests and behind. Pregnant women very often experience stretch marks, especially young mothers to be (younger than 25). Moreover, they can appear as a result of rapid growth or rapid weight changes. Men can also have stretch marks.

Massage your belly, hips and chests when you are pregnant or if you have gained some extra weight. Additionally, include beetroot, carrots, walnuts, dry fruits and almonds in your diet. This is especially important for pregnant women and obese people.

Massage the skin on the critical body parts with olive oil or cypress oil in order to prevent stretch marks. Also, you can practice warm baths with the following ingredients:

-a pinch of horsetail
-a pinch of calendula flowers
-two pinches rosemary
-a pinch of common hawthorn

Moreover, you can prepare a tea:

-two pinches of linden flowers
-two pinches of wild orange
-a pinch of rosemary
-a pinch of marjoram

Prepare a mask from St John’s wort herb:

-two tablespoons of St John’s wort oil
-one tablespoon burdock oil
-one egg yolk
-five drops of lemon juice
-5 drops calendula tincture

First of all, mix the egg yolk with the oils and then add the lemon juice and calendula drops. Apply a thin layer of the mask on the abdominal area and leave it for half an hour. Wash your skin with warm water and then apply St John’s wort cream.
Homemade St John’s wort cream:

-20 grams St John’s wort oil
-10 grams lanolin
-10 grams wheat germ oil or corn oil
-5 grams cocoa butter
-5 grams beeswax
-40 grams distilled water
– a spoon of honey
-5 drops of lemon essential oil

Heat the oily ingredients until they melt and then add the oils and heat the mixture on 60 degrees. In another container mix the distilled water and honey. Then, add the second mixture into the first and stir well the whole mixture. Afterwards, add the essential oil and stir until the mixture cools completely. Put the cream in a proper container, mix it once more and then close the container. This cream is very effective and contains only natural ingredients. Apply a thin layer of the cream on the problematic skin area. In case you want to use it as a regenerative mask apply a thicker layer on the skin and remove the extra cream after 15 minutes.
