Cranberry is a bush is high 10 to 25 cm, tempestuous and laid down stems. The leaves are leathery, oval back, evergreen, dark-green face and on the other side pale pink. The fruits are red berries, and grow in mountainous areas above 1000 meters above sea level.

Common vervain-Verbena officinalis

Common vervain is an annual or Р° perennial plant, which is 30 to 80 cm, branched tree. Lobed leaves and serrated, and whole the top. The flowers are tiny and collected in rare umbels, white-ish- purple.

BUTCHER’S BROOM –Ruscus aculeatus

Butcher’s broom is an evergreen shrub, dark green. The leaves and leathery, elliptical , and sharp on top. The flowers are tiny, unsightly, a greenish color. The fruit is a red and round berry. It grows in oak forests to 900 meters above sea level.

USEAGE:

For medication use rhizome and above-ground sections.
In folk medicine it’s used as a diuretic and as an anti-inflammatory.
Butcher’s broom acts on the walls of capillaries, increases vascular tone. It’s used as a cure for hemorrhoids, to increase blood flow in the veins and peripheral circulation.
Butcher’s broom also stimulates the secretion of urine and can be used to eliminate sand and small stones in the kidney and bladder. It can be used against gangrene.
Out of the Butcher’s broom finished products are prepared and it’s rarely used as tea.
Young branches are look like asparagus and can be eaten.
