In the case of a flu, the following is recommended: every half an hour, six times, it’s required to clean the whole body with a towel soaked in cold water. Half an hour after the 6th cleaning, make a small cover around the throat. On the top half of the body, to the armpits, wrap a piece of cloth soaked in cold water.
On top of that cloth put another dry cloth, then a big towel, then either a wool or cotton blanket, so that it’s warm. This lasts for 30 minutes, then take off the covers and lay for 30 minutes in bed. Then clean again with vinegar and water, then lightly cover yourself, and lay in bed for 4-6 hours. The cleaning with the soaked towel can only last 2-3 minutes, after every cleaning the patient should be packed well so he’s warm, like a mummy. So only the face is visible, after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th cleaning the patient will sweat like he’s in a sauna.
This procedure isn’t recommended to people with a weak heart. In these cases they should drink tea made from elderberry and lime(hot tea until they start sweating, then use lukewarm tea).

In the case of a fever, put a 1l bottle of hot water between the torso and the arms, those bottles should be in some sort of socks or gloves. Also put a bottles between the legs, between the thighs and the calfs. Then 2 bottles left and right of the hips and below the legs. On the chest put either an electric blanket or a hot-water bottle. With this method the fever should go away in 10 minutes.

Coughing (and asthma)

In the case of coughing drink tea made from 2 cloves of garlic along with the peels, that’s the size of an egg. Boil for 10-15 minutes in a liter of water, along with 100 g of yellow sugar. Drink during the day in sips.

Chronic bronchitis

Preparation: 100 g of pine buds(which are gathered in maj and june) are boiled in half a liter of water and kept in a warm place for 1-2 hours, drain and mix with 1 kg of honey. Drink 4-5 spoons spoons daily.
